The ExpressKey Remote device uses a lithium polymer battery. The battery can be charged by connecting the ExpressKey Remote to your computer, using a micro USB 2.0 cable.
Two LEDs on the ExpressKey Remote show the status of the device and of the battery. See About your ExpressKey Remote for the locations of the ExpressKey Remote Battery and Status LEDs.
The Battery Status LED shows:
Low battery: flashing red
Charging: solid amber
Fully charged: off
The Status LED shows:
Pairing mode: flashing blue
Connected/Sleep: off
Important:
If the battery charge becomes too low, the ExpressKey Remote will go into sleep mode. If this occurs you must charge the battery to resume use. Always charge the battery if the Battery Status LED flashes red. If you do not charge the battery at this point, it could become permanently damaged.
Do not remove the battery from the ExpressKey Remote. If you need to replace your battery, return the entire ExpressKey Remote to Wacom. Follow the instructions provided in the Important Product Information document, which can be accessed from the Wacom Desktop Center, or contact Wacom Technical Support for your region.
